The Position

As a GL Accountant, you will mainly be involved in the (financial) administration. This includes, among other things, creating invoices, checking payments and cross-postings, and entering and maintaining data. In addition, you will think along about the optimization of the administrative processes.

Your core tasks

  • Carrying out and controlling various (financial) administrative tasks;
  • Supporting your colleagues by answering their questions and helping them to improve processes;
  • Accurately processing all incoming orders;
  • Feeling responsible for keeping the administration accurate;
  • Taking the initiative to share improvements within the administration and processes with your manager;
  • Creating invoices and pro-formas;
  • Checking and preparing payments;
  • Invoicing customers; ensuring that this is done on time and correctly;
  • Works closely with and will be supervised by the Head of Finance.

Job requirements

  • Higher vocational (HBO) working and thinking level;
  • 3-5 years of work experience in a (financial) administrative position is a plus;
  • Careful, proactive, stress-resistant;
  • In this position, it is important that you have excellent command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written;
  • Excellent command of Excel and Word. Experience with Exact Online and Basecone will be considered a plus.
